I am absolutely delighted to introduce Selorm Adonu and Braulio Chimbembe who have now been appointed as Creative Directors for The Hustle. Both are exceptional young creators, their authenticity and commitment to community is outstanding. Together we are Hustling, creating opportunities for many young people. We are just getting started and can’t wait to share with you what we’ve got!

Selorm Adonu
Introducing award-winning actor, writer and producer @selorm.official who has worked on a range of films and theatre projects including his most recent BAFTA & BIFA Qualifying film ‘Man to Man’ which he also stars in alongside David Harewood MBE. The film has been a huge success, it has been screened at BAFTA HQ, Netflix and film festivals across the world, winning numerous awards including Best Drama and Best Short Film.
Selorm has produced short film ‘A Letter To My Government – London’s Curse’ under his own production company XVI STUDIOS. The short film is an artistic piece where knife crime in the community for young people is addressed and used to educate on this issue.
His success has also seen him starring in comedy dramas such as Mask, a Netflix project, BBC’s casualty and Dr Who and a variety of advertisements for brands such as Nandos and Puma. He continues to work as a producer in his production company where he and his team continue to create more didactic and quality stories within film for a range of clients and brands.
Braulio Chimbembe
Braulio Chimbembe is an actor and producer with a natural talent for acting and a deep passion for filmmaking. He has already made significant strides in his career, landing notable roles such as in the film Ivory, which was released in the UK through Fully Focused. His exceptional performance has earned him critical acclaim, including a “Best Actor” nomination from the National Youth Film Academy for his very first acting role. Additionally, his team at TRY42 won the “Best Cinematography” award at the same ceremony.
In 2022, Braulio founded his own production company, TRY42, through which he tells compelling stories of individuals in his community who are driven to succeed. His ability to connect with audiences has positioned him as a rising star in the entertainment industry, making it clear that he is a force to be reckoned with in film and beyond.
Braulio’s acting repertoire includes starring roles in short films such as A Letter To My Government – London’s Curse, a collaboration with XVI STUDIOS, and Lies Of Our Confines (Discovery Plus). His work also extends to impactful projects like the Public Health England X NHS advert, and theatrical performances in Playfight (Orisun Productions), A Chorus Line (The Brit School), The Odyssey (National Theatre).
Currently, Braulio is working on a ground-breaking project called Vertical Cinema, producing several series with his company. His journey is just beginning, and with his relentless hustle and clear purpose, Braulio’s legacy will continue to grow through the impactful work he aims to produce.
